The Pointe à Jérôme Rear Range Lighthouse is a four-sided, tapered wood, tower of “salt shaker” design set atop a steel skeletal frame. The top portion of the frame is covered with horizontal slats. Location: Located just east of Bouctouche. Travel Instructions: From Highway 11 in Bouctouche, take Exit 32 and travel east on Boulevard Irving. As you leave Bouctouche, the road will become Chemin Du Couvent (Route 475), which you need to follow for 3.5km (2.2 miles) before turning right onto Chemin La Pointe à Jerome. The rear range light is located in a field on the north side of Route 475. The lighthouse is owned by the Canadian Coast Guard. Grounds/tower closed.
