| Belledune Point Range Rear, NB | |
|
Description:
The Belledune Point Range Rear was formerly located on a point within the confines of Brunswick Mining & Smelting and was thus not accessible to the public.
In 2002 Charles Stewart purchased the lighthouse and had it cut into three sections, which were moved to his property in Sea Side, west of Belledune. At the time, Steward had plans to create a public space for the lighthouse to be enjoyed, but in 2009 two parts of the lighthouse seemed to be abandoned in a weeded area deep on private property. Sadly, it does not appear that anything will ever be done to resurrect this lighthouse.
